How to Prepare for Your Appointment

For safety’s sake, please stop using your fireplace, wood stove, or gas stove 12 hours prior to our arrival.  We need to work on an appliance that is completely cool.

Remove all items from the hearth, mantel and area near the fireplace.  We need about 5 feet around the fireplace clear to get our equipment in place.

Make sure that there is reasonable access to the roof and a clear space for our ladders as well as a working outlet for our vacuum.

During the winter, please shovel your walkway and/or driveway so that our technicians can safely move their ladders and other equipment.

Please have any manuals available for our technicians to review.  Each appliance is unique and having the manufacturer’s guidelines handy enhances our inspection process.

Please note that your appointment may be rescheduled if extreme ice and/or snow conditions are present. This is rare, but we thank you for your understanding.
